SWISS at the Fondue World Championship

As the Swiss national airline, it is important for us to pass on to our guests what characterizes Switzerland, its culture and traditions, from which we draw our inspiration every day. This year, SWISS is proud to support the Fondue World Championship, which takes place every two years in the small village of Tartegnin (VD). This original competition sees professionals and amateurs compete to create the best cheese fondue in the world.

From November 17 to 19, 2023, Tartegnin will be transformed into a fondue paradise, where you'll have the chance to sample a variety of exquisite fondues, accompanied by traditional Tartegnin wine. This year, a SWISS cabin crew member will sit on the prestigious jury alongside the renowned Chef Philippe Chevrier.

During this event dedicated to the best of tradition, visitors will be able to attend a wide range of events and participate in workshops celebrating local flavors and traditions. Whether it's the sweet sound of the Alpenhorn, traditional Swiss yodeling, or the delegation of the 100 Swiss from the Fête des Vignerons, come and enjoy a 100% Swiss experience, while taking in the warm atmosphere and typical charm of this village nestled in the heart of the Swiss vineyards.

To mark the occasion, we are offering you the chance to win entry kits to the Fondue World Championship:
