Explore our new travel destinations
The 2024 summer timetable offers a wide variety of new destinations. With Washington D.C. and Toronto, we are adding two new exciting North American metropolises to our intercontinental route network. In Asia, the popular South Korean capital Seoul is an exciting highlight. Not only that, but also new destinations in Eastern Europe are waiting to be discovered by you: Cluj-Napoca and Košice promise great hospitality and historic architecture. In addition, we are increasing frequencies to a number of long- and short-haul destinations from Zurich and Geneva.
Seoul: the city of contrasts
South Korea is enjoying growing popularity, not least due to popular TV series, K-pop music and, of course, its exceptionally diverse cuisine. In Seoul alone, travellers will find plenty of sights such as the five royal palaces, including the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site Changdeokgung. Meanwhile, the Dongdaemun Design Plaza design centre, whose shape is reminiscent of a spaceship, is almost futuristic. From 7 May 2024 we connect South Korea and Switzerland three times a week during the summer timetable.

Washington D.C.: capital city and cultural hub
On one hand a centre of power, an idyll with a high quality of life on the other: Washington D.C. has both to offer. The city’s silhouette also has symbolic significance because no building is permitted to be taller than the Capitol. This measure alone has prevented D.C. from becoming a city of skyscrapers. Instead visitors can admire a serene cityscape that offers plenty of green space for people and an exceptional backdrop to its historic architecture. SWISS flies you to the US capital daily from 28 March 2024 (not 29 March 2024).

Although this city in eastern Canada is a true metropolis with almost three million inhabitants, here you’ll find plenty of opportunities for activities in magnificent natural scenery. SWISS flies you to this city on Lake Ontario five times a week from 10 May 2024.
