A group request can be sent upon 344 days prior departure of the last flight segment.

Yes, credit card payment is accepted (one card for the whole group), but you will need to provide us with all final names of passengers flying and the tickets will be issued immediately after contract acceptance.

Yes you can, the latest request can be sent to us 2 weeks prior departure and the group will have to be paid with one single credit card.

No. Only flights operated by Austrian, Discover Airlines, Edelweiss, Lufthansa and SWISS can be requested.

No, but the frequent flyer number can be inserted in the group booking.

Please contact the Lufthansa Group groups department in order to arrange the best solution for you. A free of charge customized selection is available via our online check-in. A customized seat selection before check-in is subject to charges and can only be done after ticketing. The airline reserves the right to change reserved seats for security reasons or in the case of a change of aircraft. Reserved seats are not guaranteed.

Yes, upsell in general is possible once all group tickets are issued and subject to availability and to additional cost.

Cancellation of seats is possible and contract conditions will apply. Please refer to group contract conditions and further information will be provided by the Lufthansa Group groups department.

Refund will be done once the whole group is flown.

Special offers from the Internet cannot be used for group bookings as they are subject to strict conditions. The group price is calculated individually and independently of the cheapest published fare and conforms to the respective capacity of the flight. The size of any given group reduces the remaining capacity for our individual customers. The average price for a larger group may therefore turn out to be higher. As the number of bookable seats on the flight is reduced by the group size, the group price may therefore turn out to be higher for a large group than for a group of ten people or for an individual passenger on the same flight.

Additional luggage needs to be pre-advised in advance (incl. measurements and weight) to the group department and its confirmation is subject to availability. Payment for additional regular bags can be done via the LHG Groups Department after tickets are issued and by credit card only. Oversized and heavy bags as well as sport equipment can be paid at the airport only.
