Check-in and baggage drop-off worldwide

At Zurich Airport, you will find our desk at Check-in 1 in the departure hall and at Check-in 3 in the Airport Centre. There is at least one baggage drop-off desk available to you at every SWISS airport anywhere in the world. The desk opening times vary according to the airport and flying time. Find out in advance when you can check in for your flight.

Check-in 1 is currently closed for SWISS Economy and SWISS Premium Economy guests due to renovation work. Passengers in these classes are kindly requested to proceed to the counters in Check-in 3.

For SWISS Business and SWISS First passengers, there are separate check-in desks available around the world. The same applies to Miles & More Top Tier Customers (status customers). As a SWISS Miles & More Platinum Credit Card holder, you can also check in at any SWISS First Class check-in desk at Check-in 1 at any time, providing your flight has a SWISS flight number and is operated by SWISS. Check in swiftly and with no long waiting times. In Zurich, we greet First Class passengers in the exclusive SWISS First check-in lounge. Here is some general information about special desk opening and closing times before the departure of your Business and First Class flight.

We will take care of any unaccompanied children, passengers who use a wheelchair and passengers with impaired vision or hearing from check-in to boarding. Inform the staff at the check-in desk at least 90 minutes before your flight closes if you have any special needs.

The check-in times for flights operated by our partner airlines are determined by the airline concerned. Be sure to note when and where you can check in for your flight well in advance.
