A "Privacy seat" is a business class seat on our intercontinental routes with additional privacy and more storage compared to other business class seats. Subject to availability, these seats can be reserved in advance at a fee. For Miles & More HON Circle members and Senators, these seats are free of charge.

If flying in SWISS Business on an intercontinental flight, we offer you the option to reserve a seat up to 48 hours before departure. You can choose your seat during your booking, or at a later stage, by accessing your profile and the seat plan. You will find further information in the conditions for early seat reservations.

Yes, you can, provided the conditions for an online seat booking are met.

Yes, the conditions are the same as for adults (does not apply to children under the age of 2 years).

It is possible to reserve seats for one or all passengers in a booking. Each passenger can individually select and book a seat.

You will automatically be allocated a seat when you check in.

Seat reservations are non- transferable.

Have you changed your mind? That's not a problem. Just locate your trip under Manage my bookings, and reserve your Privacy seat at a later stage.

Of course, you can still choose from the available seats, free of charge, when you check in for your flight. Check-in normally starts 23 hours before departure. Please note that the choice may be limited and Privacy seats already occupied.

If SWISS has to change your Privacy seat reservation, for example in case of a last-minute aircraft change, SWISS will do its best to reserve a new seat of equal quality for you. If it is not possible to reserve an equal seat for you, you may apply for a refund online.

Miles & More HON Circle members and Senators can reserve Privacy seats in Business Class on intercontinental flights in advance free of charge if available at time of booking. The same applies for travel companions travelling in the same class. In order to receive the correct online seat display, please log in with your Miles & More number.

Advance seat reservations for Privacy seats are only valid on flights operated by SWISS.

If SWISS moves a passenger for operational reasons, then the passenger will receive a refund.If the passenger moved seats by himself, then the customer is not entitled to reimbursement.

You can change your current seat. If you change to a lower seat category, the difference will not be reimbursed. However, if you change to a higher price class, the price difference will have to be paid for.
