Conditions
SWISS Bid Upgrade is currently available on all SWISS flights. In order to place a bid, your ticket must be issued at least 48 hours before departure.
No bids can be submitted for the routes from Zurich to Dublin, Stockholm and Warsaw and back.
It works like this
If your flight is eligible for a Bid Upgrade, an invitation to bid will be displayed at the end of the booking process on swiss.com or we will inform you by e-mail. You can also place your bid directly via My bookings.
Step 1
Enter your chosen bid per leg and follow the instructions on the website. As soon as we receive your bid, you will get an e-mail confirmation from us.
Step 2
You can change or withdraw your bid at any time up to 48 hours before the planned departure.
Step 3
We will inform you by e-mail up to 24 hours before the planned departure time whether your bid has been successful or not.
If your bid is successful, your bid amount will be charged to your credit card. You cannot pay with Miles & More miles. We will then send you a new e-ticket for your flight. You will receive your SWISS Business boarding pass at check-in.
If your bid is not accepted, the ticket originally issued to you will remain unchanged. There will be no additional costs or charges for you.
