Locarno Festival
For 11 days every August Locarno is the film capital of Europe, with its southern charm on Lake Maggiore. New trends and talented film makers are discovered here in a unique setting.
Montreux Jazz Festival
For two weeks every year the Montreux Jazz Festival attracts over 250,000 music fans to the shores of Lake Geneva. SWISS is the official airline of this summer event and draws stars to this internationally famous cultural occasion.
Pink Apple
The Pink Apple Film Festival is the largest and most important festival of its kind in Switzerland. The programme showcases around 120 films from all over the world, including feature films, short films and documentaries. The festival is held in Zurich and Frauenfeld. SWISS is the proud principal partner of the festival.
Ski World Cup Wengen
The Lauberhorn ski races in the Bernese Oberland are among the largest annual winter sports event in Switzerland and are regarded as the most challenging courses in the world. The world’s longest descent attracts a television audience of millions every January and guarantees some unforgettable sporting moments.
Weltklasse Zürich
This track and field athletics meeting in late summer in Zurich is seen as the most famous such event in the world. Top athletes perform thrilling duels and set new records in the Letzigrund Stadium.
Zermatt Unplugged
Zermatt Unplugged is held over five days every April and consists of over 120 concerts on 17 stages with major international acts and promising young talents. The juxtaposition of acoustic music and the impressive mountain landscape of the Matterhorn promises a unique total experience.

Swiss Football Association
The Swiss Football Association is one of the country’s most important sporting organisations. We support the Swiss national teams (men, women and juniors) with extensive contributions towards their air travel to games.
Swiss Athletics
SWISS is the premium partner of the Swiss track and field athletics association Swiss Athletics, and supports athletes and Swiss delegations with their travel to major events and training camps.
Swiss Ice Hockey Federation
SWISS is the official airline of Swiss Ice Hockey, the umbrella organisation for the sport in Switzerland. As their partner SWISS supports the national ice hockey teams with flights and services for their travel abroad.
Swiss Olympic and Swiss Paralympic
SWISS supports the Swiss Olympic and Swiss Paralympic teams with extensive contributions towards flights to the Olympic Games and Paralympics.
Swiss Ski
SWISS supports the umbrella organisation for Swiss snow sports Swiss Ski and makes extensive contributions towards the flights for all 11 disciplines to international World Cup and FIS races abroad. As their partner SWISS flies the national skiing and snowboarding teams to World Cup competitions.
Sustainable commitment
SWISS is among the largest employers in the Zurich Airport region and feels deeply rooted in the community. That’s why SWISS has demonstrated its commitment by giving its name to two organisations and supports events and club activities in the neighbouring communities. SWISS has a long-lasting partnership with the junior division of the local ice hockey team EHC Kloten.
SWISS Band
The SWISS Band sets the tone musically with its wide-ranging repertoire and constantly delights audiences old and new. They won the “Prix Walo” in the brass band category in 2012.
SWISS Arena
The ice hockey stadium in the town of Kloten adjacent to Zurich Airport is to be known as the ‘SWISS Arena’ again from 1 May 2024. SWISS is resuming its role as naming sponsor of the venue to support its resident ice hockey club EHC Kloten. The collaboration further extends SWISS’s commitment to sports and to local institutions in the Zurich Airport region.
