Codeshare flights
SWISS extends its flight network with what are known as codeshare flights. The booking is made with SWISS, and the flight is carried out by the relevant partner airline. The flight numbers provide the relevant information.
A codeshare flight can be recognised by having two or more flight numbers. SWISS flights will have an LX number plus the codes of the partner airlines. The first flight number indicates which airline will be operating the flight - that is to say, providing the aircraft, crew and catering. This cooperation with renowned partners enables SWISS to offers its passengers a greater selection and more flexibility for their flights.
