We offer rebooking options on many fares so you can enjoy greater flexibility with your travel plans.
Preparing for your trip
Check in conveniently via our website or the SWISS app from 23 hours before departure. Simply download your mobile boarding pass to your mobile phone so you have it easily to hand at all times.
If SWISS has your contact details, you will be checked in automatically 20 hours before departure and you will receive your boarding pass by e-mail or text. You can change your preferences under “My bookings”.
Use the opportunity at some airports to check in your bags the day before to save yourself valuable time on the day of your departure.
Please also allow enough time to check in your bags the day before.
Stay up-to-date with the latest information about your flight. Enter your flight number to get all the relevant information about your flight.
Identify your bags with an address tag (name, mobile number and e-mail address) and attach the contact form. Please note our hand baggage rules and keep your hand baggage to a minimum to minimise waiting times.
At many airports you can reserve a slot for the security controls in advance. Use this option to make your journey more enjoyable. Find out here whether your airport offers this service.
At the airport
Allow yourself enough time, especially if you’re checking in baggage or travelling during the holiday season. Find out all you need to know about our offers and services at the airport and getting to our travel hubs.
In Zurich and Geneva, you have the option of using our self-service bag drop machines to check in your baggage.
Please use the relevant bulky baggage desk if you are checking in special baggage.
