Connoisseur Experience
Four times a year, SWISS celebrates the Inflight Dining Experience with an exclusive culinary journey. For two weeks, our guests in SWISS First departing from Switzerland enjoy exquisite specialties of the highest quality.
For the second SWISS Connoisseur Weeks of the year from 21 May to 3 June, a particularly precious spice takes center stage: saffron, the red gold.
Saffron enhances selected dishes during these special gourmet weeks – from starter to dessert. The menu begins with a creamy saffron soup, refined with crispy bacon and young spinach. For the main course, guests can choose between two delicious options: a classic bouillabaisse with John Dory, red mullet, prawns, and mussels in an aromatic saffron broth with root vegetables and rouille sauce, or tender braised ossobuco with gremolata and fragrant saffron risotto. The sweet finale is a delicate saffron trilogy consisting of a tartlet with mousse and a scoop of ice cream.
Another highlight is the saffron-infused gin from the renowned Swiss distillery Matte, which offers an unparalleled taste experience either neat or with tonic water.

Vegetarian cuisine from Hiltl
Vegetarians can enjoy everything they could wish for on our intercontinental flights from Switzerland. The dishes are created by Restaurant Hiltl in Zurich, the oldest vegetarian restaurant in the world.

Our guests in SWISS First can enjoy the exclusive Cuvée Louise from Maison Pommery, either as a welcome drink or to enjoy during the flight. This champagne represents absolute purity and embodies the essence of the oenological skills of Maison Pommery. It is carefully sourced from the vineyard’s best locations and pressed especially gently to capture the purest flavours. Its 15-year maturation in natural chalk cellars gives it incomparable harmony and fascinating complexity.
