Current Information for SWISS passengers

In the afternoon and evening of 10 July 2024, bad weather conditions with thunderstorms are expected in parts of southern Germany. Unfortunately, we cannot completely rule out short-term cancellations and delays in such situations. Please check the status of your flight before travelling.

We offer our guests with flights to, from or via Munich a free rebooking to a SWISS or Lufthansa Group flight in the morning or early afternoon. You can use our Chat Assistance or the "My bookings" page to do this.

Due to current developments, SWISS and the Lufthansa Group have decided to adjust the flight schedule.

The following destinations are currently affected:

·         Flights to Tel Aviv will be suspended up to and including 10 November 2024

·         Flights to Beirut will be suspended up to and including 18 January 2025

We regret the inconvenience caused to our passengers and will contact the passengers booked on the cancelled flights. We will of course allow them to rebook to a later travel date free of charge or refund the full ticket price.

Please enter your contact details at “My bookings” or create your personal Travel ID. This is the only way to ensure that we can contact you during your trip if necessary.

Rebooking and additional information         

In the event of a cancellation, SWISS will rebook you free of charge and usually automatically to another flight and inform you via your mobile phone number. If you do not receive a message from SWISS, please check the current status of your booking. Here you can also adjust the rebooking if required.  Alternatively, you can also use the SWISS Chat Assistant.
