Online check-in will take you to your boarding pass in just a few steps.

In combination with online check-in, on a constantly growing number of routes you now have the option of preparing the baggage tag for your checked baggage easily at home. Both the home printed baggage tag and the RIMOWA Electronic Tag are available to you for this purpose.

When booking on SWISS.com, you can choose whether you would like to receive your mobile boarding pass as a link by text message or by e-mail. If you want to change how you receive your boarding pass, you can do so in your profile under “Personal details”. However, you cannot opt out of automated check-in.

Please note: for some flight connections*, automated check-in is not available.

Depending upon the route and flight class, you can reserve your preferred seat either free-of-charge or at an extra cost while booking online.

If you have still not received a boarding pass or a message 16 hours before departure, you cannot be checked in automatically. However, all the other check-in options are still available as usual.

* For flights from Dubrovnik, Nis, Pula, Split, Tirana and Toulon, there is no automated check-in available.

Some countries require additional passenger information before people may enter them. Please enter this information at swiss.com/api up to 72 hours before your departure. If the information is incomplete or not available, we cannot proceed with automated check-in and we will notify you by e-mail or SMS around 20 hours before departure. In this event, please use one of the other check-in options.
