All seats in First and Business Class on our long-haul aircraft A330, A340 and Boeing 777 have electrical sockets that can be used with all common international socket systems. In addition, all seats on our long-haul aircraft are equipped with a USB connection in all travel classes.

Please note that spare batteries (e.g. power banks) may not be connected to the main power supply of the aircraft. However they may be used to charge other electronic devices on board. 

Electronic devices and mobile phones with wireless data transmission may be used on board all SWISS aircraft types at any time. However, various electronic devices must be stowed away securely during taxiing, take-off and landing for safety reasons due to their size (e.g.laptops/notebooks) or weight (exceeding 1 kg). Smaller devices must also be stowed away or held securely in your hand during these procedures. The flight captain may impose additional restrictions for operational reasons. For further information you can ask the cabin crew.

The use of telephone services is permitted on board our long-haul aircraft A330, A340 and Boeing 777. The prices are set by your telephone provider and the operator Aeromobile. Please note that restrictions apply to the operation of mobile electronic devices with voice transmission on flights to and from the United States. Also pay attention to the announcements on board or ask the cabin crew.

SWISS provides chargeable Wi-Fi on board our long-haul aircraft A330, A340 and Boeing 777. The speed is comparable to public Wi-Fi connections on the ground.
