How do I get to my accommodation after my flight to Halifax?
After your Halifax flight, you will land at Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ), which is about 35 kilometres south of the city centre. The journey by taxi takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic. Alternatively, you can take one of the regular buses, which take around 50 minutes to reach the city centre. Various car hire companies are also available directly at the airport. There are no train connections from the airport to the city.
In the city centre itself, you can easily get around by bus and on foot. You also have the option of hiring a bike to explore the city and the surrounding area.
