Upgrade for a fixed price

The upgrade for a fixed price can be purchased with any SWISS Economy , SWISS Premium Economy or SWISS Business Class fare on SWISS-operated flights (LX flight number). It is available on european and intercontinental flights, and can be selected for each route.

 

Please mind that this offer is not available for:  

  • Flight guests whose journey originates in India
  • Passengers booked on the routes: Zurich-Warsaw (ZRH-WAW), Warsaw-Zurich (WAW-ZRH), Zurich-Stockholm (ZRH-STO), Stockholm-Zurich (STO-ZRH), Zurich-Dublin (ZRH-DUB), Dublin-Zurich (DUB-ZRH), Zurich-Belgrade (ZRH-BEG) and Belgrade-Zurich (BEG-ZRH).
  • Flight guests booked within a group of more than 9 people
  • Flight guests travelling with animals (pet in cabin) or extra seats (for comfort and/or medical reasons)

Terms and conditions

Rebooking conditions for upgrade for a fixed price bookings are based on the conditions of the originally booked fare, for instance the conditions for changing  a booking and the baggage allowance. In case rebooking is permitted, the originally booked fare must be rebooked in the same or a higher booking class and the Upgrade for a fixed price amount paid for the new flight must be equal or higher - if higher the fare difference must be collected. Change fees for the originally booked fare will be applied according to fare conditions. For cancellations no refund is possible. 

If a flight is missed due to a delayed connecting flight or if a flight is cancelled, SWISS will rebook the passenger on the next SWISS flight. If no seat in the desired compartment is available on the next available SWISS flight, SWISS will rebook the passenger in SWISS Economy and a refund of the upgrade will be given. If the rebooking is on a flight operated by another airline, onward transport is only permitted in originally booked compartment, in which case the amount of the upgrade for a fixed price would be refunded.

These offers are not valid on codeshare flights. The upgrade for a fixed price is not guaranteed until you receive a confirmation.
